The criteria for the surveyAverage annual salary: gross salary from April 2010 to May 2011 in firms with less than 50 million euros in turnover. Included are fixed, variable and any thirteenth and fourteenth months.
Variable: target premiums and bonuses, excluding profit-sharing.

Medium Business: Difference between the average salary of SMEs (less than 50 million euros of turnover) and medium-sized companies (50 to 250 million euros of turnover).

Large company: Difference between the average salary of SMEs (less than 50 million in sales) and large enterprises (over 250 million euros of turnover).

Seniority: Deviation from the average annual salary, depending on seniority in the job.
